The Latest…

February 1, 2026

We left Montserrat at 10pm on Friday January 30 and sailed 15 hours south to Dominica. We’ll be here for the next few weeks (potentially all month) and we’re spending this first week with 34 other boats as part of the 2026 Salty Dawg Dominica Rendezvous. We’ll keep photos and videos updated and we’re so excited to explore this island.

We’re always adding new albums and photos to our Photos page. If you’d like to see the most recent set of photos, click here for our current album: Week 5 - Dominica Salty Dawg Rendezvous or click here for photos from Week 4 - Montserrat and Week 3 & 4 - St. Kitts & Nevis

Videos

We’ve started producing more edited videos for different locations, and we've created a page where we’ll link directly to them. Our most recent longer-form videos include one from our adventure Climbing Mount Liamuiga on St. Kitts and also one from the CORE trip to Antigua

About Us

We both lost our amazing spouses during mid-life. We found one another seeking support from others who had a similar experience and married in August 2021. We talked about dreams for our second half together, and sailing was part of the dream. We were fortunate to retire early and purchased Second Half, a 2022 Leopard 45 Sailing Catamaran, in November 2023. After two great winter seasons in the Bahamas, we’re heading to the Eastern Caribbean for Winter 2026 and will spend the season sailing along the islands between Antigua and Grenada.
